About the Event
Unbuntu the Community has partnered with Enlightened Farms to bring youth from ages 1 to 12 out of their urban environment to a beautiful farm. We encourage them to try new things and explore a world outside their usual city block. Our youth are given the chance to pick their own pumpkins and paint them. Additionally, we provide a hayride, they view farm animals and enjoy outside activities. They also make handmade flower arrangements to take home with them. We close our farm day with hot drinks and smores provided all free of charge.
